Our capital base
Berkshire Partners has raised $6.5 billion of private equity capital through our seven investment funds. Of special mention is the fact that the coinvestment commitment by Berkshire's staff makes us our own largest investor. We consider it a significant positive opportunity to be able to support our investment decisions with our own capital.
